Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager specializing in woods (timber) to drive growth and expand our market presence in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development within the timber industry, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company goals and objectives for the woods (timber) sector.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients in Saudi Arabia.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and other key decision-makers in the construction and woodworking industries.
- Lead sales initiatives, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet revenue targets.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and product offerings based on market demands.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on business development activities, sales forecasts, and market trends to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our products and services.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and industry certifications related to timber products.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Forestry, or related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the woods (timber) industry globally.
- Strong understanding of timber products, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Saudi nationals or candidates with valid work authorization in Saudi Arabia preferred.
