Chief Accountant Urgent Hiring (1) in Dammam Ind. 1 (AKG)


A leading industrial group holding company in Dammam Industrial No: One (1) is in need to hire a Chief Accountant with excellent organizational and analytical skills. Candidate is expected to be detailed oriented, knowledgeable on statistics, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines.


To ensure success, Chief Accountant should be confident, professional, and meticulous with a keen interest in the cost-efficient operations of the organization. Top candidates will have outstanding presentation and report-writing skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. The candidate will be reporting direct to the Group CFO and will supervise the group of subsidiaries accounting operation and administration.


Duties & Responsibilities:
⦁ Preparation of the financial statement in accordance with the International Accounting Standards & International Financial Reporting Standards on monthly and yearly basis
⦁ Lead the modelling, planning and execution of all financial process.
⦁ Preparation of the entire audit Schedules and other related report for the external and internal audit of the company. Preparing the reconciliations for all the balance sheet and revenue related items on monthly & year basis.
⦁ Verifying and Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all the GL’s including the verification and approval of all postings.
⦁ Preparation of yearly budget and analysis of its variance.
⦁ Preparation of all the special reports required by the management for the purpose of company’s performance as a whole and on the divisional basis.
⦁ Liaise with auditors and statutory bodies.
⦁ Review and Approvals of all kind of payments.
⦁ Analysis result of operating, finance situation.
⦁ Follow income bridge, expense bridge between actual and budget.
⦁ Check reports on financial, tax, audit and bank reconciliation.
⦁ Compare between budget and actual figure.
⦁ Make monthly profitability of analysis.
⦁ Correspond with suppliers and customers.
⦁ Coordinate with CFO in banking transactions.
⦁ Coordinate with CFO in investment (Local and Overseas).
⦁ Provide guidance to other accountants when needed.
⦁ Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
⦁ Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
⦁-Controlling documents for all affiliates (Local and Overseas).


Education:
MBA Degree in financial accounting management and or Diploma in Commerce / Finance or equivalent.


Experience:
3-5 year experience in supervising and or managing the accounting and finance department preferably in the financial services sector or similar.

Personal Attributes / Skills:
Good experience in payables ERP and SAP systems.

Others:
Good MS Excel and Word skills.
SOCPA certification is highly required.
