Description

you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of the mechanical systems that keep buildings functioning efficiently.

duties and responsibilities:

Installation:
Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics for HVAC (heating, ventilation, Fighting, and air conditioning) systems, plumbing systems, and other mechanical equipment.
Installing new mechanical equipment according to specifications.
Testing and commissioning newly installed systems to ensure proper operation.
Maintenance:
Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems to identify and address potential problems before they occur.
Cleaning and servicing equipment like filters, boilers, and pumps.
Calibrating thermostats and control systems.
Repair:
Troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions in mechanical systems.
Repairing or replacing faulty components.
Resolving issues like water leaks, malfunctioning thermostats, or problems with air conditioning systems.
Building Automation Systems:

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Technology, Building Systems, or related field.
Experience working on building mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Manual dexterity and ability to work with tools.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
