Description

We need ten MEP engineers and two Senior MEP Engineers, as follows:
Five Electrical Engineers, covering low-current and high-current electrical systems.
Five Mechanical Engineers, covering HVAC, plumbing and associated mechanical installations; and
Two Senior MEP Engineer, responsible for coordinating the inspection activities, consolidating the findings, and ensuring the overall quality and consistency of the reporting.

All profiles should demonstrate a sound understanding of the Fire and Life Safety requirements (Mandatory)(NFPA certifications preferred) applicable to their respective electrical or mechanical disciplines.

Mobilization Period: Mobilization is required relatively quickly. Candidates should be available to join with a maximum of 2 weeks of notice.

Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the team will be to conduct detailed site inspections and verify that the works executed on site are consistent with:
1. the approved IFC drawings;
2. the approved shop drawings;
3. the project technical specifications; and
4. the applicable contractual, technical and regulatory requirements.

The engineers will therefore be expected to:

1. compare the actual site installations against the approved IFC and shop drawings;
2. identify discrepancies, deviations, incomplete works and potential non-conformities;
3. assess the quality of workmanship and the compliance of the installations;
4. document their observations with clear and properly substantiated photographic evidence; and
5. prepare structured inspection reports, potentially on a daily and/or weekly basis, depending on the final requirements agreed with the Client.

Required Level of Expertise:

Genuinely high-value profiles demonstrating:

1. strong technical competence;
2. extensive site inspection experience;
3. sound professional judgement;
4. reliability and professionalism;
5. strong knowledge of IFC drawings, shop drawings and technical specifications; and
6. excellent written and photographic reporting capabilities.

The quality of the reporting will be just as important as the inspections themselves. The proposed engineers must be capable not only of identifying technical issues on site, but also of presenting their findings in a clear, precise, properly documented and actionable manner.
