Description

Assists the Manager in directing all shop activities including the repair and maintenance of mobile equipment. Directs such activities as overhauling, oiling, greasing, modifying, fabricating, machining.

1.Monitors part inventories and orders parts and supplies to ensure downtime of equipment is kept to a minimum.
2. Assists in coordinating shop preventative maintenance to coincide with production and transportation needs.
3. Assigns work tasks and ensures work is being completed in a timely and adequate manner.
4.Keeps a record of cost of repairs, services, making regular reports and implements preventative maintenance records.
5. Keep documentation up to date on checklists, etc.
6. Ensures repair work is completed correctly and efficiently.
7.Responsible for employee relations to include morale building, communication, coaching, and discipline.
