●Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software.
●Building internet facilities for the use of the users.
●Proper cabling of network points going to the data center.
●Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
●Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.
●Monitor the Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority.
●Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation.
●Document internal procedures
●Assist with onboarding of new users.
●Ensure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment.
●Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software.
● Offer remote assistance to users for efficient problem resolution.
●basic network security including access-list, port security, NAT, and basic firewalls.
● Responsible for router and switch OS maintenance and upgrades.
● Responsible for monitoring all routers and switches within the network.
●Setup and configuration of Windows and Oracle-based systems.
● Knowledge of Oracle database administration and SQL skills
●Knowledge of active directory and DHCP and DNS
