Description

Minimum of 3 to 9 years similar experience of doing setting out and detailed shop drawings in a shop-fitting or joinery manufacturing company

- Capability to do 3D drawings is an added advantage
- Suitable experience in all aspects of shop-fitting setting out from site survey, preparing manufacturing shop drawings, through to material take off and ordering, preparation of site working drawings and loading lines.
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing procedures and common shop-fitting materials including timber, boards, laminates, metal, hardware and acrylics are vital.
- Well versed in Auto Cad 2004 and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a multinational environments.

Requirement :-

Review project details and carry out brief to estimators, vendors etc.
- Shop drawings preparation and submittal process.
- Checking materials allowed details and obtain clearance for variations.
- Review specifications of project and obtain clearance for discrepancies between specs and estimated details.
- Overseeing identification of project material requirement.
- To ensure that material requisitions are placed in advance so that all materials arrive before production is commenced
- Identification of missing information and manage the process of getting the information to the setting out team.
- Overseeing the sourcing of hardware accessories and optimizing where possible
- Overseeing the timely project drawings approval process.
- Providing guidance and managing the issuance to factory of cutting lists, loading lines.
Shop drawing submittal and approvals.
Material submittal and approval.
Coordinate site installer to brief the installation methods.
