Description

Requirements:
• Experience in animal production factories and preparing animal nutritional compounds and nutritional supplements for poultry, sheep, camels, and others.
• Advanced degree with a focus in animal feed nutritionist.
• Proven capability in formulation and an understanding of nutrition programs.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a Nutritionist.
• Analytical capabilities to link production data and economics.
• Capacity to develop relevant recommendations and train the appropriate audiences to improve performance, genetic outcomes, and competitive positioning within the industry.
• Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems in an empowered, self-directed/managed work environment.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaborate across teams and functional areas.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
• Strong technical writing skills
• Hold confidential all product and program proprietary knowledge.
• Fluent in English - written and verbally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyze customer nutrition programs, compare with guidelines, and provide recommendations to improve both performance and cost of production while adhering to regional practices and regulations.
• Ensure successful implementation of recommendations and troubleshooting via proactive communication and follow-up.
• Create differentiation and advantages for customers designing research studies to characterize nutrient recommendations.
• Develop tools and technologies in a team environment to enhance nutrient recommendation adoption.
• Enhance thought leadership by presenting recommendations, updates, and research results to broad industry and scientific audiences.
• Measure and report progress to customers and account teams.
• Develop monitoring programs for customers to assess consistency and quality of diet formulation, feed manufacturing through, but not limited to, QA/QC programs; and programs to monitor feed budget compliance.
• Produce detailed reports pertaining to product/program research and implementation.
• Support other teams such as supply chain and product development.
• Remain current in area of responsibility by establishing a network of industry & academic contacts, studying literature, and attending scientific/industry meetings.
• Aid in developing new or improving existing husbandry practices for pigs in all phases of production.
• Make every effort to see that the company maintains good standards of conduct in dealing with customers, employees and allied industry in matters relating to social, professional, and ethical expectations and obligations.
• Protect and keep all information from customers only for use.
• Respectfully collaborate with staff nutritionists, consultants and nutrition suppliers in a way that maximizes the value for the customer and increases interaction with other industry participants.
