Description

Duties & Responsibilities

Review project documents for HSE requirements and develop site-specific HSE Plans
Conduct HSE training for all new employees and contractors
Inspect work areas, equipment, and PPE to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
Monitor and audit contractor safety performance
Prepare HSE reports and metrics for management review
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HSE regulations
Assist in the development and implementation of HSE management systems
Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis
Review and approve JSA’s and Safe Work Method Statements
Liaise with regulatory authorities as required
Perform regular site inspections and audits

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety, or related field
5+ years experience in HSE engineering or management
Working knowledge of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001
Strong understanding of HSE regulations and standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to develop and deliver presentations
