Job Title: Electrical QA/QC Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical QA/QC Engineer to ensure the quality and compliance of electrical systems in our projects. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of workmanship, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions to guarantee the success of our electrical projects.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures for electrical systems.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports, test procedures, and material certifications.

Quality Control:

Perform in-process and final inspections of electrical components and installations.
Identify and report non-conformities, deviations, and deficiencies.
Collaborate with project teams to address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.

Testing and Validation:

Coordinate and oversee electrical testing and validation activities.
Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvement.
Ensure that all testing procedures are conducted in accordance with established protocols.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection and testing activities.
Generate comprehensive quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members regarding QA/QC status.

Electrical Standards and Codes:

Stay updated on industry electrical codes and standards.
Ensure that all electrical installations comply with relevant regulations.
Provide guidance to the project team on electrical code requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in electrical QA/QC roles, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
Strong knowledge of inspection and testing techniques for electrical systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
