Purpose and Responsibilities:

1. Performs preventative maintenance on building systems, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and control systems and related
components.

2. Repairs and maintains a variety of facilities systems, components, and structures; repairs building plumbing, mechanical equipment,
rotating equipment.

3. Responsible for executing assigned mechanical corrective work orders related to the priority of the business.

4. Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment in compliance with standard work, mechanical codes, and adherence to safety
regulations.

5. Assist with mechanical system installation, troubleshooting and repair as needed.

6. Proficient with hydraulic, pneumatic, and other mechanical systems and circuits, as well as contributing to improved designs and
manufacturing processes.

7. Maintain records of mechanical PM’s as well as work order feedback.

8. Perform routine maintenance on production an auxiliary equipment [e.g., cooling towers, air compressors] and repair when necessary.

9. Perform routine maintenance on various machines and equipment [e.g., CNC, Lathe, milling, grinding and forklifts] and repair when
necessary.

10. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other
measuring instruments.

11. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.

12. Perform machine shop work operating various machines such as drill presses, grinders, MIG/TIG/stick welders, plasma torches,
cutting equipment (i.e., chop saw), pneumatic tools and electric/manual hand tools.

13. Performs pipe fitting of both threaded and welded pipe of various sizes, both prefabricated and field runs. Locations could include to
and from various pieces of equipment/systems, outside pipe bridges and inside buildings.

14. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

15. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment,
parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

Qualifications:

? High School diploma with 5-10 years of mechanically based technical experience in Industrial Manufacturing.

? Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods

? Hands-on experience working as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician or equivalent.
