Hydraulic Technician




General Duties and Responsibilities


* To have the knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair Hydraulic systems and electrical controls/wiring

* Responsible for install, inspecting, analyzing troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of equipment’s

* Read blueprints while diagnosing problems

* Perform preventive maintenance of hydraulic system

* Perform welding, metal fabrication and electrical assembly

* Provide drawing review and suggestions related to part inspection and testing

* Reassemble machines and hydraulic pumps

* Tested the hydraulic pumps and motors to ensure that they are working properly

* All labor and parts are charged to the appropriate unit
.
*Positive interface with service writers, leadership team, parts department, drivers, vendors and customers

* Ability to perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs to lift gates.

* Perform gas weld and soldering repairs.

* Able to lift and work with no restrictions in a workshop environment

* Perform additional duties and special tasks as needed or directed

Skills


* Familiarity with the use of feed bulker, cranes, bobcat, Forklift

*Strong hydraulic & electrical knowledge

*Troubleshooting skill

Qualifications

A minimum of:

· Vocational Diploma
· Proven experience as hydraulic technician
· Working experience in, equipment’s like (Feed bulker /Bobcat/Forklift/Cranes) and fleet hydraulic system
