HVAC-R Technician – Retail Maintenance

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Experience: 3–5 years

We are looking for an experienced HVAC-Refrigeration Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning of HVAC and commercial refrigeration systems across retail stores.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Package Units, Split AC, VRF, display cabinets, LT/MT compressor racks, condensers, and condensing units.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults.
Handle refrigerant leak detection, evacuation, pressure testing, and refrigerant charging.
Monitor pressures, temperatures, superheat, subcooling, compressor current, and other operating parameters.
Replace and repair compressors, motors, contactors, capacitors, sensors, expansion valves, controllers, and other components.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
Complete maintenance reports and update equipment records in CMMS.
Follow all safety, environmental, and company maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

Diploma/Technical Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
3–5 years of hands-on HVAC-R experience, preferably in retail stores, supermarkets, or hypermarkets.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and refrigeration schematics.
Experience using gauges, vacuum pumps, recovery machines, clamp meters, multimeters, and leak detectors.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
HVAC/Refrigeration certification is an advantage.
Willingness to respond to emergency maintenance requirements.
