Job Recruitment
We are searching for a talented and qualified millwright who has proven experience with industrial and construction equipment repairs. You will be responsible for dismantling machinery, transferring equipment, interpreting blueprints, and installing equipment.
The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of hydraulics, belt systems, motors, and other industrial machine mechanisms essential for job procedures. Must be a team player with strong attention to detail. In this position, you should also be able to make decisions, troubleshoot, and perform repairs with little to no supervision.

Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
• Take steps to ensure every job is done in a manner that’s safe and completed according to the latest workplace safety regulations, laws and requirements
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation.
• Utilize cranes and trucks to complete large-scale projects
• Transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards.
• Construct and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram rails.
• Build the foundation for machines.
• Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
• Grind and file machinery parts.
• Supervise construction workers when using the equipment.
• Work with a range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding equipment.
• Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
• Visit various construction sites
• Put your professional judgement to good use to decide which machines, techniques and tools are the best option for moving equipment and completing all necessary jobs
• Assist machinery maintenance workers as well as industrial machinery mechanics as needed to help make sure the plant and all machines operate at peak efficiency
• Package and categorize machine parts after taking them apart with accuracy and according to the company’s standards and specific project requirements
• Clean up at the end of shift to make sure your job site remains well-organized and free of unnecessary clutter
Skills
• Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role
• Hands-on experience with construction equipment and machinery
• Availability to travel regularly to different sites
• Strong communication and computational skills
• An eye for detail
• Team spirit
Education & Experience Requirements

Educational Level : Candidate High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Minimum Requirements :
 A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a millwright or similar job.
 In-depth knowledge of construction equipment and machinery.
 Completion of an accredited apprenticeship / millwright certificate program.
 Good communication skills.
 Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.
 Must be able to work well in a team environment
 At least 18 years of age
 Physically able to complete job responsibilities
