Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise daily activities on agricultural sites, coordinating with farm workers and labor teams.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
• Collaborate with farm managers to ensure timely and accurate execution of planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting.
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper water distribution and resource utilization.
• Oversee pest and disease management strategies, implementing appropriate control measures.
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of farm equipment, machinery, and tools.
• Manage workforce allocation, assigning tasks, and ensuring efficient utilization of labor.
• Conduct regular inspections of crops, identifying issues or anomalies and taking corrective actions.
• Collaborate with agronomists and researchers to implement experimental trials and gather data.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, including crop yields, labor hours, and equipment usage.
• Train and mentor farm workers on agricultural practices, safety procedures, and best practices.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources required for farm operations.
• Communicate effectively with management, providing regular updates on site activities and progress.
• Implement sustainable farming practices that align with environmental regulations and conservation goals.
• Participate in the planning and execution of agricultural projects, contributing insights and expertise.
Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture is a plus.
• Proven experience in agricultural operations and site supervision.
• Solid knowledge of agricultural practices, machinery, and equipment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to make informed decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Understanding of safety protocols and compliance regulations.
• Familiarity with sustainable farming practices is advantageous.
• Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license.
