Duties & Responsibilities
• Assists CISO in advising the IT Department in the installation, administration and troubleshooting of MMS’ network security solutions.
• Developing and implementing security policies and procedures: This involves creating a comprehensive plan to protect an organization's networks, data, and systems from potential threats.
• Conducting risk assessments: A Cyber-security Manager will assess the risks associated with different systems and determine the best ways to mitigate those risks.
• Performs vulnerability and penetration tests, identifies and defends against threats, and assists in the development of disaster recovery plans.
• Managing security incidents: In the event of a cyber-attack or data breach, a Cyber-security Manager will lead the response efforts to mitigate the damage and prevent further attacks.
• Assists the IT Department in configuring security systems, latest security patches, analyzes security requirements and recommends improvements.
• Monitors security aspects of MMS’ information including security of patient data.
• Performs physical checks in all MMS’ facilities to ensure that there are no data leaks due to misplacement of hard copy reports.
• Monitors network traffic for suspicious behavior.
• Monitor compliance with the relevant KSA regulations.
• Documents security findings, remediation plans and exception requests in a clear and concise manner.
• Advises all departments on approved information security policies and authorization roles, and defends against unauthorized access, modifications and data destruction.
• Trains MMS staff to understand and use security protocols appropriately.
• Ensures completion of analytical studies, maintains log recording and IDS alarm systems.
• Assists and works as per instructions of the CISO in implementing solutions for security incidents.
• Staying up to date on the latest security trends and threats: Needs to stay informed about new threats and trends in the cyber security field in order to adapt their security policies and procedures accordingly.


Educational & Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Cybersecurity / Computer Science / Digital Forensic Science from a reputed institute / university.

Professional certifications in some of the following is required.
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Systems Security Certified Professional (SSCP)
• GIAC Security Essentials
• Comp TIA Security
