Description

Quality Control coating inspector - ensure that surface preparation, painting and protective coating applicantions comply with engineering specification, industry standards, and anti-corrosion requirements in industries like oil& gaz, petrochemicals, marine and construction.
Responsibilities :-
* Execute the specific inspections on matrials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
* Issue the relevant quality records and when necessaty write and send to quality control supervisor non- conformances report.
* Control of storage and certification of comsumables.
* Check surface preparation, check records atmospheric conditions prior to starting of painting operations.
* Carries out wet and dry film thickness checks, monitors observations of the correct coding cycles, verfy the correct colour.
* Performs visual inspection, perfors adhesion testing, performs penetration testing, and evaluate the impact testing.
Requirements:-
Current offshore BOSIET / Survival certificate ( prefered )
NACE 2 OR B Gas/FROSIO accreditation.
Seaman,s Book
Minimum 5 years experience as Coating inspector
