Description

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Tekla Detailer with strong experience in structural steel modelling, fabrication drawings, and erection detailing.

Key Responsibilities

Develop accurate 3D models of structural steel, miscellaneous metalwork, and secondary steelwork using Tekla Structures.

Prepare shop, assembly, General Arrangement (GA), erection, and anchor bolt drawings.

Produce Bills of Materials (BOM), material take-offs, bolt lists, and part lists.

Generate fabrication data files, including NC/DSTV, DXF, and KSS, as required.

Interpret architectural and structural IFC drawings, specifications, and connection designs.

Perform clash detection and resolve modelling conflicts before fabrication.

Detail steel connections in accordance with approved designs, applicable codes, and company standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Diploma or degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of structural steel detailing experience.

Proficiency in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD 2D/3D.

Strong knowledge of AISC requirements, AWS welding symbols, and steel fabrication and erection practices.

Ability to interpret complex architectural and structural drawings.

Experience with commercial, industrial, pre-engineered building (PEB), and complex steel structures.
