## ELECTRICAL TESTING & SUBSTATION O&M TECHNICIANS

**Employment:** Full-Time – Transferable Iqama Required

### JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Minimum **5 years of hands-on experience** in electrical substation testing, operation, and maintenance.
* Minimum **Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent**.
* Excellent command of **English (speaking, reading, and writing)**.
* Ability to work efficiently with Testing & Commissioning Engineers.
* Experience in MV/HV substations, preferably SEC/National Grid projects.
* Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
* Knowledge of electrical safety procedures (PTW, LOTO).
* **Egyptian and other Arab nationalities are preferred.**

### REQUIRED TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

**1. GIS & MV Switchgear**

* Testing, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance.
* Circuit Breaker Timing, Contact Resistance, and Insulation Resistance Tests.
* VCB, SF6 Circuit Breakers, CTs, VTs, and Interlocking Systems.
* Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.

**2. Power Transformers**

* Transformer testing and maintenance.
* TTR, Winding Resistance, IR, Tan Delta, and Oil Testing.
* OLTC, RTCC, Cooling Systems, and Protection Devices.

**3. Protection & Control Systems**

* Protection relay testing assistance.
* Primary and Secondary Injection Testing.
* Control, Trip/Close Circuits, SCADA, and RTU Systems.

**4. Substation Operation & Maintenance**

* Preventive and corrective maintenance (PM/CM).
* Substation equipment inspection and monitoring.
* Assistance with authorized switching and isolation operations.
* Fault investigation, troubleshooting, and maintenance reporting.
* DC Systems, Battery Banks, UPS, and Earthing Systems.

**5. Testing Equipment**

* Practical knowledge of OMICRON, MEGGER, DILO, DV POWER, or equivalent testing equipment.
