Technical Sales & Proposals Engineer – Industrial Instrumentation & Automation Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia
Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia
Employment: Full-Time
AMAC provides industrial instrumentation, flow measurement, calibration, automation, electrical and technical services to industrial clients across Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a technically competent Technical Sales & Proposals Engineer who can independently handle industrial RFQs, develop technically compliant quotations, coordinate with suppliers, and support our business development team.
Key Responsibilities:
Review RFQs, datasheets, specifications and technical requirements
Prepare technical and commercial proposals, BOQs, cost estimates and quotations
Select suitable instrumentation, flowmeters, transmitters, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and automation products
Obtain supplier/OEM quotations, compare offers and verify technical compliance
Prepare quotations for calibration, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and automation services
Coordinate with engineering, operations and sales teams for technical clarifications
Maintain product pricing records, service rate cards and quotation documentation
Support technical discussions with clients and quotation follow-ups
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Automation or a related engineering discipline
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, estimation or proposals
Strong understanding of industrial instrumentation, flow measurement and automation systems
Familiarity with brands such as Siemens, ABB, Emerson, Endress+Hauser, Honeywell, Schneider Electric or similar
Experience preparing RFQs, BOQs, technical compliance statements and commercial offers
Good Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems
Strong written and spoken English
Saudi industrial market experience preferred
