We’re Hiring – NPD Design Engineer (R&D)
We are looking for an NPD Design Engineer to join our R&D Department, with hands-on experience in wiring harness design and new product development for automotive and/or defense applications.
Qualification & Experience:
• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical or related engineering field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in wiring harness design & development
• Ability to create 2D manufacturing drawings and electrical schematics
• Knowledge of 3D harness routing
• Good understanding of wires, cables, connectors, terminals, seals, splices, shielding and harness protection
• Experience in preparing BOMs and technical documentation
• Knowledge of prototype development, testing and first-sample verification
• Understanding of engineering changes, drawing/BOM revisions and ECNs
• Knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA will be an advantage
• Familiarity with automotive and/or defense industry requirements
• Ability to coordinate with Production, Quality and Purchasing during new product development
• Experience with relevant wiring harness/design software is preferred
Candidates should have strong technical and problem-solving skills and be able to support a product from customer requirement through design, prototype development and production release.
