### **Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced **MEP Draftsman** with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to join our engineering team in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in **Revit, SolidWorks, Navisworks, and AutoCAD**. You will be responsible for developing detailed 3D models, 2D construction drawings, and fabrication-level designs for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, as well as performing advanced clash detection and model coordination.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
**Modeling & Drafting (Revit, AutoCAD & SolidWorks):**
* Develop detailed 3D BIM models and 2D construction drawings for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems using **Autodesk Revit MEP** and **AutoCAD**.
* Utilize **SolidWorks** to design, model, and detail custom mechanical equipment, piping skids, modular units, and complex fabrication parts.
* Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and fabrication-level details from 3D models in compliance with project specifications.
* Extract material take-offs and assist in the preparation of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
**Coordination & Clash Detection (Navisworks):**
* Aggregate multidisciplinary models (Architectural, Structural, MEP) using **Navisworks Manage**.
* Perform advanced clash detection, run clash tests, and generate comprehensive clash resolution reports.
* Participate in BIM coordination meetings with consultants and contractors to resolve spatial conflicts and design discrepancies.
* Maintain the federated model and ensure all design changes and RFI responses are accurately updated across all platforms.
**Collaboration & Quality Control:**
* Work closely with MEP Engineers, Architects, and Structural teams to ensure design intent is met and systems are properly integrated.
* Review drawings and models for accuracy, compliance with company CAD/BIM standards, and constructability.
* Maintain organized file structures and adhere to the project’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
### **Required Qualifications:**
* **Residency:** **Must have a valid and transferable Iqama (Saudi Residency).**
* **Experience:** Minimum of **3 years** of proven professional experience in MEP drafting, detailing, and BIM modeling.
* **Education:** Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
* **Software Proficiency:**
* **Autodesk Revit MEP:** Advanced (Ability to create complex families and parametric models).
* **SolidWorks:** Intermediate to Advanced (Specifically for mechanical parts, skids, and fabrication detailing).
* **Navisworks Manage:** Advanced (Clash detection, model aggregation, and reporting).
AutoCAD: Advanced (2D drafting, schematics, and markups).
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP systems, spatial coordination, P&IDs, and reading architectural/structural drawings.
Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
Language: Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required. Arabic is a strong advantage.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
* Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia and familiarity with the **Saudi Building Code (SBC)** and local authority submission requirements.
* Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
* Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership or eligibility.
