We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to join our construction team in Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and commercial proposals for roads, infrastructure, civil construction, and building projects.Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and commercial proposals for tenders.
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
Analyze quantities and prepare accurate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare detailed rate analysis and pricing breakdowns.
Identify project risks, exclusions, assumptions, and potential cost impacts.
Coordinate with technical, procurement, and project teams during tender preparation.
Review and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Assist in developing competitive and commercially viable tender prices.
Participate in tender clarification and negotiation processes.
Maintain and update cost databases and historical project rates.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
10+ years of relevant experience in estimation and tendering within the construction industry.
Strong experience in roads, infrastructure, civil works, and building construction.
Proven experience in preparing tenders for major construction projects.
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, rate analysis, and cost estimation.
Excellent understanding of construction materials, methods, labor productivity, and equipment costs.
Experience dealing with subcontractors and suppliers.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and relevant estimation/tendering software.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience with major contractors and large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia, particularly roads, infrastructure, utilities, and civil construction projects, will be an advantage.How to Apply
