MRF # 193 – Proposals / Bid Engineer

Experience: 3–5 Years
Industry: Oil & Gas / Engineering / EPC
We are seeking a Proposals / Bid Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals for Oil & Gas, Engineering, EPC, and PMC projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Review RFQs, RFPs, ITBs and tender documents to understand client requirements.
Prepare and coordinate complete technical and commercial proposals.
Develop proposal compliance matrices, execution methodologies, manpower plans and deliverable lists.
Coordinate with Engineering, Project Controls and other disciplines for proposal inputs.
Prepare man-hour estimates, rate build-ups and commercial pricing.
Obtain and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations where required.
Ensure proposals comply with client specifications, contractual requirements and submission deadlines.
Support clarification meetings, bid evaluations and post-bid negotiations.
Maintain proposal records, cost databases and lessons learned from previous bids.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
3–5 years of relevant proposal/bidding experience with an Oil & Gas Engineering, EPC or PMC company.
Good understanding of Engineering, Procurement and Construction project execution.
Experience in both technical and commercial bid preparation.
Strong skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Good communication, coordination and analytical skills.
Experience with Saudi Aramco or other major Oil & Gas clients in Saudi Arabia will be an advantage
