Position: Estimation Engineer - Interior Fitout

Reports To: Project Director / Managing Director
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Remote / Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially aware Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, quotations, and commercial proposals for interior fit-out, renovation, and construction projects.

The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for reviewing tender documents, performing quantity take-offs, obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations, analyzing project costs, and preparing competitive and technically compliant proposals.

The Estimation Engineer is expected to deliver accurate, competitive, and commercially viable estimates, while ensuring that all tender requirements, quantities, specifications, assumptions, and exclusions are properly reviewed and documented before submission.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in estimation and quantity surveying.
- Experience in interior fit-out and contracting projects is highly preferred.
- Experience with commercial offices, retail, hospitality, residential, and renovation projects is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction and interior fit-out materials and methods.
- Excellent understanding of BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of estimation or quantity-surveying software.
- Knowledge of the Saudi construction market and local supplier/subcontractor pricing is preferred.
