Cost Controller Engineer

Experience Required

Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Cost Control Engineering, preferably within construction, contracting, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and control project costs against approved budgets.
Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and cost analysis.
Track actual costs, commitments, and budget variances.
Analyze cost deviations and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor project expenditures and financial commitments.
Coordinate with Project, Procurement, Finance, and Engineering departments.
Review purchase orders, invoices, subcontractor costs, material costs, and other project expenses.
Maintain accurate project cost records and supporting documentation.
Assist Project Management in budget planning and cost forecasting.
Prepare management reports related to project cost performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
7 to 10 years of proven experience as a Cost Controller Engineer.
Strong experience in project cost control and cost management.
Excellent knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost reporting.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Experience with ERP and project cost-control systems is an advantage.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Transferable Iqama is preferred.
Important

This position is specifically for a Cost Controller Engineer. Candidates with Quantity Surveyor-only experience will not be considered.
