Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) to support the maintenance and smooth operation of mechanical equipment and systems within our food technology warehouse facility. The technician will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment and warehouse systems.
Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, belts, chains, valves, and mechanical drives.
Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, material-handling equipment, and automated warehouse equipment.
Carry out mechanical inspections and identify potential equipment failures.
Support maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration and cold-room mechanical systems as required.
Perform equipment installation, alignment, lubrication, and replacement of mechanical components.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance checklists.
Follow food safety, hygiene, HSE, and company maintenance procedures.
Coordinate with electrical/automation technicians and warehouse operations during maintenance activities.
Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and according to company standards.

Requirements:

Diploma / Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Maintenance.
2–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician.
Experience in food processing, food warehouse, cold storage, FMCG, logistics warehouse, or automated warehouse is preferred.
Good knowledge of conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatic systems and mechanical equipment.
Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and respond to breakdowns when required.
