Job Title: Sales Person – Frozen Chicken Portfolio
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Purpose
To achieve sales and distribution targets for the Frozen Chicken Portfolio by developing new business, maintaining strong customer relationships, expanding market coverage, and ensuring the availability and effective distribution of frozen chicken products within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
• Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales and volume targets for the Frozen Chicken Portfolio.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximize sales and customer retention.
• Identify and acquire new customers, including wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and food-service customers.
• Present and promote the company’s frozen chicken products, including product specifications, pack sizes, pricing, promotions, and availability.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor pricing, promotions, product availability, and customer demand.
• Ensure effective distribution and market coverage across the assigned territory.
• Generate customer orders and coordinate with the relevant departments to ensure timely product delivery.
• Monitor customer stock levels and identify opportunities to increase product penetration and sales volume.
• Negotiate with customers within approved company pricing and commercial guidelines.
• Follow up on customer payments and support the collection of outstanding receivables in accordance with company credit policies.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints and coordinate with internal departments for timely resolution.
• Monitor product expiry, stock rotation, returns, damages, and other issues related to frozen products.
• Ensure customers maintain appropriate frozen storage and product-handling practices where applicable.
• Maintain accurate records of customer visits, orders, sales, collections, and market activities.
• Submit regular sales reports and provide management with relevant market and competitor information.
• Implement company sales strategies, promotions, and trade activities effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food-safety requirements, pricing guidelines, and sales procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Supervisor/Manager.
• Compliance with company pricing and credit policies.
Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in frozen food, poultry, FMCG, food distribution, or a related industry.
• Previous experience selling frozen chicken or other frozen food products is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of the local market and customer base.
• Experience dealing with wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, and food-service customers is an advantage.
• Valid driving license, where applicable.
