Arabic Sweets Chefs Pastry Chefs Bakery Specialists
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are looking for experienced Arabic sweets chefs, pastry chefs and bakery specialists who take pride in authentic flavours, consistent quality and excellent presentation.

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience, ideally 5-10 years or more, in a professional sweets shop, bakery, hotel or commercial production kitchen.

Specialties We Are Looking For:
Candidates should have strong experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Arabic and Middle Eastern sweets: Baklava, kunafa, basbousa, maamoul, qatayef, balah el sham and warbat.
• Syrian and Lebanese specialties: Halawet el jibn, barazek, ghraybeh and pistachio-filled pastries.
• Saudi and Gulf specialties: Kleija, luqaimat and traditional date-filled sweets.
• Turkish specialties: Turkish baklava, künefe, kadayif and lokum (Turkish delight).
• Cakes and bakery products: Celebration cakes, sponge cakes, cheesecakes, muffins, cupcakes, cookies, croissants and other pastries.
Key Requirements
• Strong practical knowledge of doughs, batters, fillings, sugar syrups, baking temperatures and finishing techniques.
• Ability to deliver consistent taste, texture, portion size and presentation.
• Experience planning daily production and handling large orders during busy periods.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, allergen handling, storage and shelf-life control.
• Ability to manage ingredients, control wastage and maintain a clean, organised kitchen.
• A reliable team player who can work independently and support junior staff.
• Expertise in Syrian, Turkish or Egyptian confectionery traditions is particularly valued. Experience serving Saudi and Gulf customers is an advantage.
