We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Head of Department (HOD) to join our team and lead the mechanical operations of a large-scale facilities/utilities project.

The ideal candidate should have strong managerial and leadership capabilities, supported by a solid technical background and extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, plant operations, maintenance, and utilities.

🔹 Key Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities
Lead the mechanical and BMS teams, evaluate performance, provide guidance, and drive productivity.
Prepare budget forecasts and effectively control operational and maintenance expenses.
Manage the BMS team and ensure smooth 24/7 operation.
Ensure all activities comply with the highest Quality, Health & Safety standards.
Maintain effective communication with the client and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Negotiate and administer subcontractor and supplier agreements to achieve the best commercial terms and conditions.
Coordinate closely with Human Resources to ensure optimum manpower planning and resource utilization.
Ensure timely submission of daily, monthly, and annual reports to the client and management.
Identify training requirements and ensure appropriate in-house and external training programs are implemented to improve employee competency and productivity.

🔧 Technical Responsibilities & Systems
The Mechanical HOD will oversee the operation and maintenance of major mechanical and utility systems, including:
Boiler Plant: 8 Hot Water Boilers
Chiller Plant: 26 Chillers
Main Water Plant:
2 Fire Pumps — 1 Electrical & 1 Diesel
5 Domestic Water Pumps
3 Irrigation Water Pumps
Domestic & Fire Water Storage Tanks
Utilities Networks:
Chilled Water Network
Hot Water Network
Fire Water Network
Domestic Water Network
Irrigation Water Network
Sewage Network
Sewage Treatment Plant (STP): Capacity of 10,400 m³/day
Reverse Osmosis (RO) Process Water Treatment Plant
Solar Plant
LPG Plant
