Job Overview
Maintenance Company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling statutory tax filings with ZATCA, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring complete accuracy across all financial databases and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• General Ledger & Journal Entries: Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are systematically recorded; maintain accurate ledgers, balance sheets, and trial balance reports.
• Taxation & ZATCA Compliance: Prepare, verify, and submit Excise Tax and Value Added Tax (VAT) returns in strict accordance with ZATCA regulations.
• Payables & Receivables: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely billing and collections.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly bank statements and proactively resolve any accounting discrepancies.
• Insurance Accounting: Follow up and accurately record all medical and vehicle insurance transactions and premium amortizations.
• Fixed Asset Management: Maintain comprehensive fixed asset records, including asset tagging, tracking monthly depreciation, and supporting physical asset verification.
• Database & Financial Reporting: Continuously update financial databases to ensure accurate, real-time data is immediately available for management review.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of continuous accounting experience (Mandatory).
• Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and ERP/accounting software.
• Education: Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Knowledge: Hands-on experience with ZATCA compliance and Saudi tax regulations.
