WE ARE HIRING – EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTANT

Position: Accountant
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, VAT compliance, audit preparation, and accounting software, with solid Gulf/Saudi accounting experience.

Key Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the Gulf region, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
2. Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
3. Practical experience in VAT preparation and filing, preferably with Saudi ZATCA requirements.
4. Experience in preparing documents and schedules for external and internal audits.
5. Strong hands-on experience with Tally Prime; knowledge of other accounting/ERP systems is an advantage.
6. Good knowledge of financial reporting and preparation of financial statements.
7. Experience in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
8. Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and journal entries.
9. Experience in cash flow monitoring and financial analysis.
10. Ability to prepare management reports, financial schedules, and supporting documentation.
11. Knowledge of Saudi accounting, VAT, and statutory compliance requirements.
12. Experience in reconciliation of customer, supplier, bank, and balance sheet accounts.
13. Ability to review invoices, expenses, payments, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
14. Good understanding of accruals, prepayments, provisions, depreciation, and fixed asset accounting.
15. Strong Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables, lookups, and financial data analysis.
16. Ability to coordinate effectively with auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
17. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
18 Good communication and interpersonal skills.
19. Ability to work independently and handle confidential financial information professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
SOCPA qualification/certification or relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
Experience in the construction/contracting industry will be highly preferred.
Experience with project accounting, job costing, retention, advances, and contract-related accounting will be an advantage.
