Key Responsibilities
ï‚· Demand Forecasting: Build and improve statistical forecasting models using
sales history, market trends, and seasonal patterns. Analyze past sales data, market
trends, and seasonal shifts to predict future product demand.
ï‚· Supply & Inventory Optimization: Match demand forecasts with manufacturing
and supplier capacity to maintain optimal stock levels. Analyze past sales data, market

ï‚· S&OP Leadership: Lead Sales and Operations Planning meetings to create a
unified consensus plan across sales, finance, and operations. Run Sales and

ï‚· Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics like forecast accuracy, fill rates, and

reliability.
ï‚· Work with sales and marketing: Gather insights on upcoming promotions, product

production teams buy the right amount of materials.
ï‚· Lead S&OP meetings: Run Sales and Operations Planning sessions to align company
departments on a single operational plan
Inventory and Strategy Management
ï‚· Optimize stock: Balance inventory levels to prevent product shortages or
excess holding costs.
ï‚· Manage risk: Spot supply chain bottlenecks or demand spikes early and create
backup plans.
ï‚· Lead the team: Manage daily operations, mentor junior planners, and upgrade
forecasting tools or processes
Requirements & Qualifications
 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related
field.
ï‚· Experience: 8 to 10+ years of supply chain experience, with specific leadership
or managerial background in planning.
ï‚· Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle)
and advanced data analytics/Excel tools.
ï‚· Soft Skills: Strong cross-functional communication, problem-solving, and
leadership capabilities.
