We Are MEP Contractor and we are Hiring for our new 5 start hotel project in Al Khobar
Role Description
(The Safety Officer-full-time, on-site role based in Al Khobar)
Safety Officer will monitor workplace conditions, perform regular safety inspections, and ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and security standards. Responsibilities include identifying hazards, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining safety documentation, reports, and records. The role involves delivering safety training, conducting incident and accident investigations, and coordinating with management and employees to promote a strong safety culture. The Safety Officer will also support emergency preparedness planning and assist in implementing safety-related policies and procedures across the site.
Qualifications
• The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of experience in the construction and contracting field,
• strong organizational skills and experience in handling project safety documents.
• Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills, with knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.
• Candidates should possess Accident Investigation skills, including root-cause analysis and incident reporting.
• Candidates should possess Security skills to help safeguard personnel, assets, and facilities.
• Candidates should possess Safety Training skills, with the ability to deliver clear and engaging training sessions to diverse teams.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related field are preferred.
• Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and guide others on safety matters.
• Experience working in industrial, construction, or similar environments, and familiarity with emergency response procedures is beneficial.
