JOB PURPOSE:

The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and inspecting construction activities to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, applicable codes, and Afniah standards. The role supports safe, timely, and quality project delivery through effective site coordination, technical monitoring, reporting, and communication with project stakeholders.

SKILLS:

• Strong site supervision and inspection skills.

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, drawings, and specifications.

• Knowledge of applicable engineering codes and regulatory requirements.

• Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.

• Ability to identify construction, quality, and safety issues.

• Effective communication and coordination skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering or project documentation systems.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a site-based and multidisciplinary environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related engineering field from a recognized institution. Relevant professional certification or registration is advantageous.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum three (5-7) years of professional experience in site engineering, construction supervision, project supervision, or related engineering activities, preferably within an engineering consultancy or construction environment.
