Position: Piping Surveyor

Location: Saudi Arabia

Job Summary

The Piping Surveyor is responsible for carrying out survey activities related to piping installation, ensuring that all pipelines, equipment, and supports are installed accurately according to approved drawings, project specifications, and client standards.

Key Responsibilities
Perform layout and setting out for above-ground and underground piping works.
Establish and verify control points, benchmarks, and reference coordinates.
Conduct alignment, elevation, and coordinate checks before and after piping installation.
Prepare survey reports, as-built drawings, and survey documentation.
Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and engineering teams to ensure accurate execution.
Verify the location of pipe supports, structures, and equipment foundations.
Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and Laser Level.
Ensure all survey activities comply with project specifications and safety requirements.
Resolve survey-related issues in coordination with the engineering team.
Support hydrotest and final handover by providing accurate as-built survey data.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Surveying certification is an advantage.
Experience
Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Surveyor in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects.
Experience in piping layout, equipment alignment, and underground utilities.
Gulf/Saudi Arabia experience is preferred.
Experience on Saudi Aramco projects is an added advantage.
Technical Skills
Proficient in Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and Laser Level.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey software.
Ability to read P&IDs, isometric drawings, GA drawings, and piping layout drawings.
Good understanding of piping tolerances and construction standards.
Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and international codes is preferred.
