Job Description:

An industrial engineer typically leads the design, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing processes and systems. They analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and optimize efficiency to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance productivity. This role often involves mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying current with industry best practices in Oil & Gas Modular Skids, Equipment (Pressure Vessels, Tanks...) & Piping Spools and Water Treatment RO skids & Equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
Process Optimization:
Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Work Measurement and Time Studies:
Conduct time studies, work measurement, and capacity analysis to improve labor and machine utilization.
Facility Layout Design:
Design and optimize facility layouts to improve workflow and material handling.
Lean Manufacturing Implementation:
Drive the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize data analysis tools to identify areas for improvement, track performance, and develop key performance indicators (KPIs).
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, production, and quality control, to implement process improvements.
Mentorship and Training:
Mentor junior engineers and production staff on best practices and methodologies.
Project Management:
Lead and manage projects related to process improvement, new product introduction, and capital investments.
Staying Current:
Stay up-to-date with the latest manufacturing technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field is typically required.
Experience:
Minimum Five (5) years of experience in Electromechanical (Mechatronics) industries, with a strong track record of implementing process improvements and leading projects.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency of ERP (SAP S/4HANA), MES software (SAP, SIEMENS, AVEVA, ZeroKey...), PLM (Oracle Aconex), PPM (Oracle Primavera) & CAD softwares (Autodesk Cadworx & AutoCAD/AutoCAD Plant 3D).
Proficiency in data analysis tools, and lean manufacturing methodologies (Green Belt / Black Belt).
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
In essence, an industrial engineer acts as a change agent, driving efficiency and performance improvements across the organization through their expertise in industrial engineering principles and practices.
