Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical works comply with project specifications, applicable standards, and quality requirements.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA/QC Mechanical Engineer in construction projects.
Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation.
Knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, API, ISO, etc.) is an advantage.
Ability to prepare inspection reports, material inspection requests (MIRs), work inspection requests (WIRs), and NCR documentation.
Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is an advantage.
Transferable Iqama is mandatory.
Available to join immediately or on short notice.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of mechanical works to ensure compliance with project specifications and approved drawings.
Review material submittals, inspection requests, and quality documentation.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site teams on quality-related matters.
Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with project quality plans and company QA/QC procedures.
