Job Description
An E&I Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the installation of electrical and instrumentation systems. Key duties include managing E&I technicians and subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, planning and prioritizing work, and coordinating with other departments like engineering and procurement. The position requires technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a focus on operational efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

1. Manage E&I technicians and subcontractors, coordinate work with other disciplines (e.g., engineering, construction, safety), and act as the primary point of contact for E&I subcontractors.
2. Oversee the installation of E&I equipment, cables, and cable trays, and direct the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems.
3. Ensure all activities adhere to safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and enforce safety procedures to prevent hazards.
4. Plan and prioritize tasks for the team, collaborate with other professionals on project design and upgrades, and manage procurement to ensure necessary materials are available.
5. Monitor system performance to ensure reliability and efficiency, implement solutions, and ensure work is completed to required standards.
