Junior Accountant (Supermarket Experience Required)

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Jeddah. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of accounting experience in the supermarket, mini-market, grocery, or retail sector and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This role involves extensive data entry, daily transaction processing, account reconciliations, and supporting the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform high-volume accounting data entry with accuracy.
-Record daily sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory-related transactions.
-Reconcile cash, bank, supplier, and customer accounts.
-Process invoices, payments, and journal entries.
-Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
-Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documents.
-Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
-Support the finance team with ad hoc accounting tasks.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
-2–5 years of accounting experience.
-Previous experience in a supermarket, grocery, or retail company is required.
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
-Experience with ERP or accounting software.
-Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
-Strong organizational and time management skills.
-Arabic and English proficiency.
-Currently based in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
-Open to Both Males and Females
-Ready to Join within 7-10 days max
