Description

A) Material Reconciliation Specialist
1. Inventory Reconciliation: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of physical inventory against ERP records, (SAP, ORACLE) across multiple sites, including third-party storage locations.
2. Audit & Compliance; Conduct audits of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and company-managed stock to ensure compliance with internal standards, SOX requirements, and safety regulations.
3. Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate abnormal stock variations, identify root causes of shortages or surpluses, and collaborate with logistics, procurement, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies.
4. Project Close-Out: Prepare Material Reconciliation Summary (MRS) reports to facilitate the financial close-out of projects, ensuring all materials are accurately transferred or returned.
5. System Maintenance (SAP Super User): Act as the technical resources for inventory modules with the SAP system, assisting with BOM (Bill of Materials) updates and troubleshooting.
6. Material Tracking: Monitor material condition, storage practices, and the disposal of surplus or obsolete materials.

B) Material Specialist
1. Plan and monitor material requirements based on project schedules.
2. Review material requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
3. Coordinate with procurement, vendors, expeditors, and logistics teams.
4. Verify materials against purchase orders, packing lists, and approved specifications.
5. Coordinate material inspections with QA/QC when required.
6. Monitor material delivery status and identify potential delays.
7. Maintain accurate inventory records and material databases.
8. Control material issuance and returns.
9. Perform inventory reconciliation and stock verification.
10. Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
11. Coordinate proper storage and preservation of materials.
12. Prepare material status reports, shortage reports, and inventory reports.
13. Resolve material discrepancies and damaged material issues.
14. Support project close-out activities, including surplus material management.
15. Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and client requirements.
