Position Overview:
ZATCO is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Operations Manager with a strong background in the Mechanical discipline within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sector. The ideal candidate will be currently based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a valid transferable Iqama, and will be capable of leading and managing operational activities across multiple projects with full accountability for quality, safety, cost, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage day-to-day operational activities across projects in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sector
• Lead the mechanical execution team including engineers, supervisors, foremen, and skilled manpower
• Develop and implement operational strategies, work plans, and resource allocation plans
• Ensure all works are executed in compliance with client specifications, engineering standards, and HSE requirements
• Coordinate with clients, PMC, subcontractors, and internal departments for seamless project delivery
• Monitor project KPIs including progress, productivity, cost control, and schedule adherence
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and technical submittals
• Participate in project kickoff meetings, progress reviews, and client coordination meetings
• Manage procurement coordination, material planning, and on-site logistics
• Ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of manpower and equipment
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational processes
• Report directly to Senior Management / General Manager on project performance
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and site supervisory staff

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Operations / Project Management within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC sector
• Strong expertise in mechanical works including piping, rotating equipment, pressure vessels, and static equipment
• In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards — ASME, API, ANSI, SABIC, Saudi Aramco standards
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects in KSA
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and project management tools
• Knowledge of HSE policies and Saudi regulatory compliance
• Valid Transferable Iqama is mandatory
• Prior experience with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SATORP, or YASREF projects is highly preferred
• Sri Lankan nationals currently residing in KSA are strongly encouraged to apply
