**Project-Based Contract: 2 Months (Renewable Based on Project Needs)**

### **Role Summary**
The BIM / Laser Scanning Specialist is responsible for validating LOD 500 BIM models against actual site conditions using advanced laser scanning workflows. The role involves processing point cloud data, performing detailed model accuracy checks, and generating QA/QC deviation reports to support as‑built documentation and digital handover requirements.

### **Key Responsibilities**

- Conduct **LOD 500 model reviews** by comparing BIM models against **laser-scanned point cloud data** to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
- Process, clean, align, and **register site scan data** using **Leica Cyclone Register** to produce accurate, unified point cloud datasets.
- Identify and document **discrepancies between design intent and actual site conditions** through structured point cloud validation workflows.
- Perform **clash checks, deviation analysis, and spatial accuracy assessments** for MEP systems using 3DR or equivalent QA/QC software.
- Generate detailed **QA/QC reports**, deviation summaries, heat maps, and model accuracy assessments for internal and client review.
- Coordinate with BIM, MEP, and site teams to resolve inconsistencies and ensure accurate as‑built model updates.
- Maintain organized scan data, registration files, and validation documentation for audit and handover.
- Support the BIM team in updating models based on validated point cloud findings (LOD 500 as‑built).

### **Required Skills & Competencies**

- Strong background in **MEP systems** (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical).
- Hands-on experience with **laser scanning workflows** and point cloud processing.
- Proficiency in **Leica Cyclone Register** for scan registration and alignment.
- Experience using **3DR**, Navisworks, or similar tools for deviation analysis and QA/QC reporting.
- Solid understanding of **LOD 500 modeling**, as‑built documentation, and BIM execution standards.
- Ability to interpret MEP drawings, site conditions, and scan data accurately.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with Revit, Navisworks Manage, and point cloud integration workflows.

### **Qualifications**

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
- 3–7 years of experience in BIM, laser scanning, or scan‑to‑BIM environments.
- Experience in GCC projects preferred.
