Job Description

1.Supervise all post-tensioning activities on site, including installation of ducts, anchorages, stressing operations and grouting works.
2. Ensure that post-tensioning works are executed in accordance with approved shop drawings, method statements, project specifications and relevant codes.
3. Coordinate with the main contractor, consultant and project management team to ensure smooth progress of post-tensioning activities.
4. Monitor site manpower, equipment and materials to achieve project targets safely and efficiently.
5. Inspect tendon installation, cable profiling, anchorage positioning and reinforcement arrangements before concrete casting.
6. Conduct and witness stressing operations, record elongation readings, verify stressing results, and prepare stressing reports.
7. Supervise grouting operations and ensure compliance with approved procedures and quality standards.
8. Prepare daily progress reports, material consumption records, inspection requests and other project documentation.
9. Enforce site safety requirements and ensure all post-tensioning personnel comply with HSE regulations and company safety policies.
10. Identify technical issues on site, provide practical engineering solutions and coordinate corrective actions to maintain project quality and schedule.


Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in post-tensioning works of buildings or prestressed concrete structures.
3. Knowledge of stressing equipment, tendon systems and construction quality control procedures.
4. Ability to read structural drawings and architectural drawings and to coordinate with multidisciplinary construction teams.
