Job Responsibilities
Build and assemble wooden structures for signage, displays, frames, cabinets, and mounting systems.
Cut, shape, and finish wood, MDF, plywood, and composite materials according to drawings and specifications.
Fabricate sign backings, frames, supports, and wooden cabinets for indoor and outdoor signage.
Install indoor and outdoor signs with proper alignment and secure mounting.
Manufacture male and female molds for acrylic forming based on technical drawings.
Produce customized wooden products according to project requirements.
Assist the acrylic department in creating acrylic letters, signage components, and related fabrication work.
Read and interpret interior design drawings, mood boards, and material schedules.
Collaborate with designers to select suitable materials, finishes, and hardware.
Create prototypes and mock-ups for client approval.
Install decorative woodwork, including wall cladding, feature walls, wooden slats, trims, skirting, and cornices.
Ensure all installations meet quality, finishing, and design standards.
Conduct site measurements and adjust fabrication plans when necessary.
Build and install custom furniture such as wardrobes, cabinets, shelves, and bespoke fixtures.
Assemble and install false ceilings and wall paneling using wooden frameworks.
Take responsibility for measurement accuracy, cutting calculations, and all carpentry processes.
Perform additional duties assigned by the department supervisor.
Requirements
Experience in interior fit-out and carpentry work.
Ability to read technical and interior design drawings.
Skilled in furniture manufacturing, wood finishing, and installation.
Knowledge of MDF, plywood, acrylic-related carpentry work, and decorative wood installations.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
