Project Buyer Required Urgently:

 We are seeking an experienced Project Buyer to manage and facilitate the procurement of materials and consumables for ongoing projects. This role involves handling small to high value procurement, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery to support site operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective vendor coordination, and strict compliance with company procedures for purchasing.

Job Description:

 Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize project purchasing processes.
 Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.
 Collaborate with project managers, engineers, coordinators and stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
 Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
 Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies and procedures.
 Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts for auditing purposes.
 Resolve any issues related to procurement, including delivery delays or product quality concerns.
 Participate in supplier performance reviews and implement necessary improvements.
 Prepare and present procurement reports for management and project teams as required.


Education:

 Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Certification:

 Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS, CPP, or equivalent) is preferred.

Years of Experience:

 Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement role, preferably within the oil and gas industry.

Qualifications:

 Experience and well versed with Saudi Aramco procurement procedures.
 Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a project-based environment.
 Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor relationships.
 Proficiency in procurement software, Microsoft Office, Oracle Net Suite & procurement software applications.
 Ability to work independently and manage all the project requirements.
