Description

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and verify incoming raw materials to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
Monitor product quality throughout production, packaging, and storage processes.
Conduct routine quality inspections and tests according to established quality control procedures.
Ensure compliance with Food Safety Management Systems, HACCP, GMP, and company policies.
Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices within production areas.
Verify product weight, dimensions, labeling, packaging integrity, production dates, and expiry dates.
Identify, document, and report non-conformities and quality issues.
Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness.
Collect product samples and perform routine inspections and quality checks.
Ensure measuring and testing equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments to resolve quality-related issues.
Participate in internal and external audits related to quality and food safety systems.
Place non-conforming products on hold and immediately report issues to the direct supervisor.
Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
Comply with all company quality, food safety, health, and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Quality Control within the food manufacturing or bakery industry.
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and food safety standards.
Familiarity with Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulations and requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to prepare reports and analyze quality issues effectively.
