Description

We are looking for FIRE FIGHTING TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities:-

1- Systems Installation & Maintenance: Installing, inspecting, testing, and repairing water-based sprinkler systems, deluge systems, and fire pumps.
2- Fire Equipment Inspection: Testing fire hydrants, hose reels, fire pumps, and foam deluge systems, often conducting hydro tests on fire hoses per NFPA 1962 standards.
3- Safety & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with local fire codes and NFPA regulations, including routine inspection of SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus).
4- System Troubleshooting: Identifying issues with fire protection pipes, water supply, and drainage systems.

Essential Skills:-

1- Technical Knowledge: Extensive experience with pipe fitting, sprinkler systems, and fire protection equipment.
2- Documentation & Reporting: Creating daily allocation sheets, updating maintenance logs, and following blueprints/drawings.
3- Communication & Leadership: Leading teams of workers, conducting safety briefings, and coordinating with supervisors.

Typical Qualifications:-

1- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial fire protection projects.
2- Knowledge of fire suppression systems (e.g., FM200, Novec 1230, Foam).
3- Valid safety certifications (e.g., Firefighter I&II, SCBA training).
