Basic Information

Position Title: Fruit And Vegetable Merchandiser
Department: Store Operations / Fresh Produce Department
Work Location: Stores in Saudi Arabia
Reports To: Produce Supervisor / Store Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

Product Display & Replenishment
• Responsible for stocking, arranging, and replenishing fruits and vegetables on shelves and display areas
• Ensure product displays are neat, attractive, and fully stocked according to company standards
• Remove damaged, expired, or unsellable products in a timely manner
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures for product rotation
Product Quality Control
• Inspect the freshness and quality of fruits and vegetables regularly
• Sort out spoiled, damaged, or expired products and report issues to the supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the produce area
• Assist with daily waste control and inventory counting
Customer Service
• Assist customers with product inquiries and shopping guidance
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Report customer complaints or unusual situations to management promptly
Warehouse & Receiving Support
• Assist in receiving, unloading, sorting, and storing produce items
• Organize storage rooms and cold storage areas properly
• Support inventory checks and stock verification
Equipment & Safety
• Properly use weighing scales, pallet jacks, and other store equipment
• Follow company safety and food hygiene regulations
• Report safety hazards immediately
Other Duties
• Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisors
• Support promotional activities and peak holiday operations.

Job Requirements

Basic Requirements

• Age between 20–40 years old and physically fit for manual work
• Basic English communication skills required; Arabic speaking is a plus
• Candidates must have a minimum 3 months valid Iqama
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Responsible, disciplined, and team-oriented

Experience

• Experience in supermarkets, fresh produce, or retail stocking is preferred
• Middle East retail experience is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of product display and merchandising
• Strong execution and attention to detail
• Good customer service and teamwork skills
• Able to work in cold storage environments and stand for long periods.
• Candidates must have a minimum 3 months valid Iqama
