Job Title: Plumbing Technician
Nationality: Saudi National
Department: MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)
Location: Saudi Arabia
Reports To: Site Supervisor / Project Engineer

Job Purpose
To install, maintain, test, and repair plumbing systems in commercial, industrial, and residential projects in accordance with project specifications, Saudi codes, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Install water supply, drainage, and piping systems as per approved drawings.
• Install fixtures including valves, pumps, water heaters, sanitary fittings, and accessories.
• Perform pipe cutting, threading, joining, and pressure testing.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repair of plumbing systems.
• Detect and troubleshoot leaks, blockages, and system faults.
• Assist in installation of firefighting piping systems where required.
• Ensure all work complies with Saudi Building Code and project requirements.
• Follow company quality procedures and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades at site.

Qualifications
• Diploma / Technical Certificate in Plumbing or related trade.
• Vocational training in plumbing works preferred.
• Must be registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) under the appropriate technician / technical profession category, where applicable.

Experience
• 2–5 years experience in plumbing installation or maintenance

Skills Required
• Knowledge of plumbing tools and materials.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of workplace safety requirements.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
